about

This was another song that I would always include in my concerts in the '70's, simply because it went with the sci-fi theme of my other song, "Quazar". Audiences would listen intensely to the finger-picking and the social commentary, which I had unintentionally wrote into the piece. Really, I LOVED similar themes written by other artists such as Cat Stevens with his "Moonshadow" and David Bowie.

lyrics

I have come from an interstellar, distant-burning star.
Home, far away, looks like a tiny twinkling, diamond-studded dot.

Please take me home to my world I once knew.
Where sky was blue, grass was green, and God was new.

Where is the love that I thought was present here on planet earth?
Where is the love that I thought was present everywhere in space?

Please take me home to my world I once knew.
Where sky was blue, grass was green, and God was new.

Please take me home to my world I once knew.
Where sky was blue, grass was green, and God was new.
